The Scottish National Equestrian Centre is the new state of the art venue for all equestrian sports and activities.
Situated in rural West Lothian the SNEC is just 15 minutes from Edinburgh airport and has excellent access to both the M8 & M9, thereby ensuring that access to the centre is easy for Scottish, English and other European competitors and spectators alike.
The SNEC boasts fantastic facilities, including 80m x 40m international 400 seater arena, 60m x 25m warm up arena, 110m x 80m Outdoor turf arena, a 6 furlong all-weather gallops, BE cross country course. In addition we have stabling for up to 100 horses, accommodation for 200 people and full catering and conference facilities.
Sport Scotland, Scottish Enterprise and Oatridge College have joined together to fund the £3.5 million first phase build of the SNEC, in the future phases 2 and 3 will include extra outdoor arenas, rider gymnasium, and enlarged restaurant areas. The SNEC has already attracted bookings from all equestrian disciplines and interest groups, we will be playing host to FEI events, international seminars and demonstrations, affiliated competitions and staying in contact with grass roots Pony and Riding Club activities.
