The Scottish Government has announced that mainland Scotland is to go into lockdown from midnight tonight with a new legal requirement forbidding anyone from leaving their home except for essential purposes.

As a result, we will be continuing to keep our doors closed during this time.

If you have a booking we will be contacting you to try and find a suitable alternative date.

There is light at the end of the tunnel and hopefully we will be welcoming you back soon, but in the meantime please Stay at Home.

Level 4 Restrictions – 21 December 2020.

The Scottish Government has announced that Level 4 restrictions are to be introduced to much of Scotland from 26 December 2020 for a period of, at least, 3 weeks.

As a result, we will be unable to hold any events during this period.

We have contacted those with bookings to try and find suitable alternative dates.

This is not the situation we hoped we would once again find ourselves in however, we encourage everyone to follow the guidance and hopefully we will be welcoming you back soon.

Move to Level 4 – 20 November 2020.

West Lothian is being placed in Local Protection Level 4 as of 20 November 2020, this will severely constrain events and training taking place at SNEC. For the most up to date status of our events please visit our Event Calendar.

Statement regarding the new restrictions announced on 7 October 2020.

It is our initial understanding that the new restrictions announced by the Scottish Government do not require us to close.

We are seeking further clarity on this and await the publication of the Regulations outlining the detail of the new restrictions.

As such, at this stage, this weekend’s British Showjumping Category One show will go ahead as planned.

We encourage everyone to continue to follow the public health guidance and help to stop the spread of COVID-19.
